On March 25th, Cai Chongxin, Chairman of the Alibaba Group, expressed his views at the HSBC Global Investment Summit, pointing out that a bubble is beginning to form in the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. He believes that many investment announcements in US data centers are "duplicated" or overlapping. Meanwhile, Cai Chongxin revealed that Alibaba's employee count has bottomed out and the company will restart its hiring plan. Regarding the current booming AI wave, Cai Chongxin broadly categorized companies involved into three types: the first focuses on model research and development, such as OpenAI; the second focuses on AI applications and integrations; and the third comprises infrastructure providers.

Anuttacon, the mysterious AI game company founded by MiHoYo founder Cai Haoyu, recently unveiled its debut project, "Whispers From The Star." The game, under the tagline "Your conversation decides her fate," emphasizes real-time dialogue with an AI-driven character, aiming to provide players with an open-ended, personalized, and immersive experience. Players interact with the protagonist, Stella, an astrophysics student who crash-lands on an alien planet.

MiHoYo founder Cai Haoyu expressed his views on social media, believing that artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) technology will fundamentally transform the game development industry. He predicts that the future of game creation will be primarily occupied by two groups: on one hand, the top genius teams, accounting for 0.0001% of the industry, who will create groundbreaking game works; on the other hand, 99% will be amateur enthusiasts who will freely develop games based on personal interests.

Cai Chongxin pointed out at the 2023 Yunqi Conference that the era of intelligence has begun, and AI will become a new form of productivity across various industries. 80% of Chinese tech companies and half of the large model companies rely on Alibaba Cloud services. The AI open-source community 'Modao' launched by Alibaba attracted 2.7 million developers in one year, with over 2,300 high-quality models.
